ACLU's Kary Moss leads women's studies lecture series

Neal Rubin | The Detroit News Comments The first female director of the ACLU of Michigan will open a new lecture series honoring the 40th anniversary of the Michigan Women’s Studies Association. Kary Moss will speak at the Michigan Women’s Hall of Fame in Lansing at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. A 2011 Hall inductee, Moss will discuss “Getting Ahead of the Curve: The Landscape of Civil Rights.” Admission is free for the series, which will focus on women’s concerns in such areas as politics, science, marketing, media and history.
