Teen at Oxford Twp. treatment center allegedly assaulted by roommates

Tony Briscoe The Detroit News Comments A 15-year-old girl staying at a treatment center for at-risk youth in Oxford Township was allegedly sexually assaulted by two roommates Saturday night, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were called at 9:05 p.m. Saturday to Cross Roads for Youth in the 900 block of East Drahner Road after the victim reported that her two 15-year-old female roommates subdued her and sexually assaulted her. The two suspects were interviewed at the sheriff’s Oxford Township substation. Both are being held at Children’s Village juvenile detention center in Pontiac and are expected to attend a hearing today on the charges. tbriscoe@detroitnews.com...
